Prompt Engineer

We’re seeking a Prompt Engineer to push the boundaries of how Large Language Models (LLMs) are applied in the banking and financial services industry. You’ll design, test, and optimize prompts for document understanding, data extraction, and intelligent automation.

This role blends software engineering, AI expertise, and creative problem-solving. You’ll be building PoCs in Python, working closely with ML engineers on fine-tuning initiatives, and ensuring solutions are robust, scalable, and secure.

🎯 What You’ll Do

• Design and optimize advanced prompts for document understanding & extraction

• Build PoCs in Python to validate and iterate on prompt strategies

• Maintain a prompt library ensuring reusability, security & compliance

• Perform validation, stress testing, and failover modeling across LLMs

• Analyze LLM outputs and fine-tune prompts for accuracy & consistency

• Collaborate with ML engineers on fine-tuning & RAG pipelines

• Document best practices & strategies in a structured format

• Identify and mitigate risks such as prompt injection & hallucination

✅ What We Expect

• Proven experience (2+ LLM production projects) with real-world deployments

• Strong understanding of prompt structure & contexts

• Proficiency in Python, with experience in LLM APIs, frameworks & Pandas

• Hands-on with fine-tuning or RAG pipelines

• Familiarity with evaluation tools & metrics (BLEU, ROUGE, semantic similarity, HITL validation)

• Awareness of LLM-specific security concerns (injection, filtering, API limits)

• Strong analytical & problem-solving mindset

• Excellent communication skills to translate business needs into prompt logic

🌟 Nice to Have

• Experience with vector databases & retrieval-augmented generation

• Exposure to LangChain, LlamaIndex, or similar frameworks

• Prior work with OCR, NLP, or IDP pipelines

Location: Kraków, Poland (Hybrid – 3 days onsite

Rate: up to 1.500 PLN
