Murex Back Office Workflows Developer

Location: Warsaw, Poland (Hybrid)

Work mode: Hybrid — 2 days every 2 weeks from the office

🏦 Project Overview

We are looking for an experienced Murex Back Office Workflows Developer to join the Market Cross Tribe at Santander. You will be part of the Murex Projects Team, working in an Agile and DevOps-driven environment (Kanban, CI/CD pipelines).

This role requires strong hands-on experience in Murex workflows configuration, with a mandatory focus on formulas development.

🛠 Key Responsibilities

• Design, configure, and maintain Murex Back Office workflows

• Develop and maintain formulas within Murex workflows

• Provide business support, analysis, and maintenance

• Work across the full trade lifecycle in Murex

• Integrate Murex with upstream and downstream systems

• Participate in DevOps and Agile processes

• Support Back Office processes, including EOD activities

✅ Required Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in Murex Workflows Development & Projects

• Strong expertise as a Murex Back Office specialist

• Hands-on experience with workflows:

  • Contract, Event, Exchange, SI, Deliverables

• Murex version 3.1

• Solid understanding of financial products and market operations

🔧 Murex Technical Expertise

• GOM: organization, permissions, users

• Deep understanding of:

  • Trade lifecycle in Murex

  • Market operations on financial products

• MXML services

• MXML workflow tasks and usage

• Formulas development (mandatory):

  • XSL, XSLT, XSLTREE

  • SQL, XMLF, Java

• Integration with external systems

• Static data configuration & workflows:

  • SSIs, Counterparties, Securities

• OSP configuration, STP rights

• Confirmations

• Pre-Trade knowledge (Murex Scripting Language)

• Configuration management for workflow objects

• Knowledge of Back Office EOD processes

• DataMart (nice to have)
