Position: Mid-Level Site Reliability Engineer (SRE)

Location: Hybrid, Warsaw (2 days onsite, 3 days remote)

Rate: Up to 1,000 PLN/day + VAT

Key Responsibilities

As a Java Application Support Engineer, you will:

• Provide L2 support for production Java applications in a large-scale enterprise environment.
• Manage production incidents, troubleshoot, and resolve application issues efficiently following ITSM processes.
• Support and maintain large-scale applications, ensuring maximum uptime and reliability.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to diagnose and debug issues related to Unix/Linux servers, SQL, and Java applications.
• Troubleshoot Java Virtual Machines (JVMs) and address performance bottlenecks.
• Operate in environments with extensive server infrastructures, ensuring robust support for applications under heavy workloads.
• Maintain effective communication with stakeholders to provide updates on incident resolution and application health.

Mandatory Skills

✅ Production Application Support: Proven experience managing production incidents for large enterprise applications.

✅ ITSM Processes: Familiarity with incident management frameworks and tools.

✅ Java Application Expertise: Hands-on experience supporting Java applications, including understanding JVM configurations and performance tuning.

✅ Unix/Linux Systems: Strong experience working with Unix/Linux environments and proficient in troubleshooting system-related issues.

✅ SQL Proficiency: Ability to run and optimize SQL queries during debugging and troubleshooting.

✅ Debugging & Troubleshooting: A systematic approach to identifying and resolving application issues.

✅ Server Infrastructure Experience: Worked in large-scale server environments with a focus on reliability and scalability.

✅ Communication Skills: Excellent communication to ensure clarity and efficiency in incident reporting and resolution.
