We are seeking an experienced Level 3 Support Engineer to join our global team providing 24/7 production support for high-performance applications. The ideal candidate brings strong troubleshooting expertise, experience with modern observability tools, and a solid development background in Java and enterprise applications. Work Schedule: Includes participation in 24/7 on-call rotation
- Provide Level 3 support for all PPT applications across environments
- Participate in a 24/7 on-call rotation to ensure continuous system availability
- Troubleshoot production issues across services and tech stacks (Java, Kafka, Cassandra)
- Work with monitoring tools like Splunk, Prometheus, Grafana for log analysis and alerting
- Collaborate with development teams to enhance application resilience and performance
- Script automation tasks using Python and/or Bash
- Support deployments and debug issues across Linux/Unix/Ubuntu/Windows environments
- Understand and support databases like Oracle and MySQL
- Contribute to the design and development of multi-tiered Java applications using J2EE, Spring, Hibernate, Web Services (SOAP/REST), IBM MQ
- Participate in Agile ceremonies, analysis, unit testing, and bug resolution
- Manage incident tickets, root cause analysis, and resolution in cross-functional teams
- (Bonus) Knowledge of Mobile SDKs is a plus
- Strong experience with Java/J2EE, Spring, Hibernate, Web Services
- Expertise in monitoring/logging tools: Splunk, Grafana, Prometheus
- Production support background in Kafka, Cassandra, VM management
- Strong scripting skills (Python or Bash)
- Familiarity with CI/CD, troubleshooting in distributed systems
- Operating systems: Linux/Unix, Ubuntu, Windows
Solid SQL and database troubleshooting experience (Oracle/MySQL)
