Java Support Lead (W/M)

Dear Consultant,

Join a leading IT services team supporting a well-established automotive brand recognized for its innovation and global success. This role offers the opportunity to lead IT support operations for country-specific applications and play a key part in ensuring seamless service delivery in a high-availability environment.

Location: Remote (with 1 day/month onsite in Warsaw)

Working Mode: Hybrid

Language Requirements: Polish (fluent) + English (proficient)

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the IT Operate team, managing L1, L2, and L3 support tickets
• Collaborate with business users to understand needs, resolve issues, and report on progress through weekly/monthly status reports
• Drive incident and problem management under ITIL best practices
• Oversee disaster recovery and business continuity processes
• Act as a technical lead with strong hands-on skills in Java, J2EE, and Oracle
• Coordinate WSR/MSR reporting and team deliverables
• Manage stakeholder expectations and handle escalations effectively

Required Skills

• Strong development/support background in Java, J2EE, and Oracle
• Fluent in Polish, with good English communication skills
• Excellent team leadership, stakeholder engagement, and reporting capabilities
• Solid understanding of ITIL processes and operational support models

Preferred Skills

• Experience with MS SQL
• Risk management and escalation handling
