IT Business Analyst

We are looking for an experienced IT Business Analyst to join a multinational investment bank and financial services company. This role requires strong expertise in finance and accounting business processes, with a solid understanding of capital markets and SQL writing.

Work Environment: Hybrid, Wroclaw - 3 days per week on site, 2 days remote

Rate: 1000-1100 PLN/day

Responsibilities:

• Finance and Accounting Business Processes: Leverage expertise in finance, accounting business processes, and capital markets to support IT initiatives.
• SQL Writing and Data Modelling: Utilize your experience in SQL writing and data modelling, including complex SQL joins, to manage and analyze data effectively.
• Functional Testing and Requirements Management: Conduct functional testing and manage requirements related to general ledger data, journals, positions, trial balance, P&L, balance sheet data, and wealth management client static data.
• Accounting Engine SQL Logics: Understand and work with complex accounting engine SQL logics, including data sourcing and transformation using SQL joins.
• Bank Sub-Ledger and Finance Applications: Apply your experience with bank sub-ledger platforms, accounting sourcing/reporting platforms, and other finance applications to enhance system functionality.
• Asset Class Experience: Utilize your experience with various asset classes such as equities (EQ), fixed income, bank guarantees, loans, lending products, and wealth management asset classes.
• User Interface and Requirement Capture: Interface with finance and accounting users to capture requirements, perform functional testing, and manage changes across sourcing, accounting, and reporting.

Requirements:

• Proven IT Business Analyst experience with a strong background in Finance and Accounting business processes and capital markets.
• Strong SQL writing and data modelling experience, including complex SQL joins.
• Experience in functional testing and requirements management, specifically with general ledger data, journals, positions, trial balance, P&L, balance sheet data, and wealth management client static data.
• Ability to understand and work with complex accounting engine SQL logics, including data sourcing and transformation.
• Experience with bank sub-ledger platforms and accounting sourcing/reporting platforms is a plus.
• Previous experience with asset classes such as equities, fixed income, bank guarantees, loans, lending products, and wealth management asset classes.
• Strong ability to interface with finance and accounting users to capture requirements and perform functional testing across sourcing, accounting, and reporting changes.
