FinOps Analyst - Remote Romania / Czech

We’re building a candidate pipeline for a FinOps Analyst role (AWS expertise required) to begin immediately. The ideal candidate has 5+ years in cloud financial management, strong Athena/SQL skills, and deep understanding of AWS cost structures. Immediate CV submissions requested.

Scope of Work:

• Analyze AWS Cost & Usage Report (CUR) using Athena for granular financial reporting

• Identify cost and utilization metrics across teams & products

• Improve cost-tagging practices and automate FinOps processes

• Build dashboards and reports tracking spend vs. budget

• Discover cost-saving opportunities using anomaly detection

• Collaborate with finance and engineering teams on cloud cost control

• Monitor key metrics and propose optimizations

  
  

Required Skills:

• 5+ years in FinOps, cloud cost management, or related roles

• Expertise in AWS Cost Explorer, CUR v2, Athena (SQL)

• Strong knowledge of AWS pricing models across services

• Proven track record implementing tagging standards and cost-saving initiatives

• Ability to identify anomalies and forecast cost trends
