DevOps Engineer

We are seeking a highly experienced DevOps Engineer to join our multinational clients team on a remote, B2B basis. The ideal candidate is an independent, self-starting problem solver with a passion for designing and developing robust CI/CD pipelines and enhancing software development processes. Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate and enhance current CI pipelines and design new solutions to improve efficiency.
• Design, develop, and continuously improve existing CI/CD pipelines for Java microservices and UI applications (React).
• Collaborate with development teams to enhance development efficiencies and groom stories effectively.
• Integrate automated end-to-end testing into pipelines to ensure confidence in every deployment.
• Enhance existing tools such as SonarQube and Checkmarx to strengthen build capabilities.
• Partner with automation framework teams to develop robust CI solutions.
• Design and implement enhanced production monitoring solutions across all products.
• Develop new CI/CD pipelines for upcoming projects.

Requirements

• Educational Background:
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Professional Experience:
• 8+ years of experience in DevOps or a related field.
• Proven expertise in deploying microservices and UI applications.
• Strong experience developing and improving CI/CD pipelines with tools like Jenkins and GitHub Actions.
• Technical Skills:
• Working knowledge of branching and merging code in GitHub.
• Deep understanding of AWS Virtual Private Clouds and networking.
• Experience integrating automated end-to-end testing into CI/CD pipelines.
• Knowledge of industry best practices for DevOps in a cloud environment.
• Soft Skills:
• Strong design documentation and communication abilities.
• Independent, innovative, and capable of problem-solving with minimal supervision.
• Desire to create automated pipeline solutions over manual one-off implementations.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working in an Agile development environment.
• Demonstrated leadership in improving DevOps processes and solutions.
