DevOps Cloud Engineer (Remote –)

Dear Consultant,

We’re looking for an experienced DevOps Cloud Engineer to join a global product engineering team. This is a hands-on role involving the design, engineering, automation, and support of scalable cloud solutions using Azure and containerization technologies. Location: Remote within Poland, Romania, Bulgaria, UK,

Start Date: ASAP

Duration: 6–12 months (extendable)

Key Responsibilities

• Design and automate scalable infrastructure (IaaS, PaaS, Networking) in Azure.

• Provide L3/L4 engineering support, technical documentation, and solution delivery.

• Develop scripts using PowerShell/Python/Linux shell to automate manual processes.

• Build microservices with Kubernetes (AKS), Docker, Helm Charts.

• Engineer pipelines with Terraform, Ansible, Azure DevOps.

• Support API integrations and data pipelines (ADF, ADB).

• Lead architecture documentation and collaborate across teams globally.

  
  

Required Skills & Experience

• 5–12 years in cloud engineering with Azure (PaaS, IaaS), SaaS.

• Strong scripting in PowerShell/Python.

• Kubernetes (AKS), Docker, Helm, RESTful APIs.

• Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks.

• Terraform, Ansible, ARM templates.

• Source control (Git, Azure DevOps, SVN), CI/CD.

• Networking: Load balancers, DNS, NACLS, WAFs, routing.

• GenAI familiarity and DevOps mindset.

• Excellent English communication & documentation skills.

  
  

Nice to Have

• Azure or Cloud certifications (AZ-104, AZ-400, etc.)

• Experience in large enterprise transformation projects.

• Knowledge of GenAI features in Azure.
