Data Engineer

This position is based in Warsaw, with a flexible hybrid working model.

Compensation: 850-950 PLN/day 💰

What You'll Do:

• Develop and optimize SQL and Python queries to extract data from very large datasets.
• Utilize scripting skills to automate data processes efficiently.
• Work within an enterprise environment managing extensive datasets in the payment sector.
• Collaborate with a team of data professionals to innovate and enhance data solutions.

What We're Looking For:

• Proven experience (4+ years) in data engineering with a solid track record of handling large datasets in the payment or financial services industry.
• Strong proficiency in writing complex SQL and Python queries.
• Familiarity with data orchestration tools like Airflow and data processing frameworks such as Spark.
• Experience with Cassandra or similar distributed database management systems.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and a keen attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.

Bonus Points For:

• Any hands-on experience with Cassandra, Spark, or Airflow.
