📎 We are looking for  AWS Support engineer on behalf of our client to join to the leader from chemical industry.

B2B Contract

• Preferred location – Bulgaria (Remote)

Service Descriptions:

With our cloud platforms we provide controlled access to AWS for DevOps teams and Business Units, to enable and support Companie's cloud-native strategy.

We build upon the offerings of AWS and integrate these into our internal processes & landscape following the Company guidelines. To enable an easy, fast and secure usage of cloud services by our customers, we design and manage a landing zone that integrates the increasing complexity of cloud offerings into the IT landscape considering Governance, Security, Automation, Self-Service, Monitoring/Logging, Network, Identity & Access Management and more.

We reduce the complexity of Company corporate requirements, integrating them into self-managed environments for DevOps teams to focus on what they do best: developing amazing applications.

Within our AWS cloud platform, we provide DevOps teams and business partners with AWS accounts to facilitate the cloud-native setup of their use cases.

Task Descriptions:

• Infrastructure maintenance and enhancement

• Upgrade Python versions across environments

• Improve and maintain technical documentation

• Identify and remove obsolete infrastructure components

• Develop new features and improve existing infrastructure components

• Support in test protocols for cloud platform services

• User support (development teams)

• Respond to and resolve ITSM tickets (changes, incidents…)

• Provide support and troubleshooting assistance to application development teams

• Cloud Security Posture Management (CSPM)

• Align configurations across migrated accounts within the AWS Organization tree

• Investigate and resolve CSPM security findings 

Skills required:

• Proven experience as AWS Solution Architect or similar, working with Lambda, Step Functions and Cloud Formation.

• Proficiency in Python programming.

• Experience with event-driven architecture and design.

• Git version control, Azure DevOps, CI/CD and deployment pipelines

• English fluency, both written and spoken, is a must

Additional Remarks:

We are looking for a single contributor to support our AWS development.

The person will work independently with the open backlog items in Azure DevOps.

📍 Location of the position must be in a European time zone (nearshore), with availability to travel on a quarterly basis for on-site workshops, which could happen either in Germany or Spain.

Additionally:

• It is a fully remote position.

• The company is in the chemical industry.

• C2H option.
