Test Specialist

Test Specialist

We expect you to be available to come to the office in Warsaw for a maximum of 12 days per quarter (it may be less).

Responsibilities:

• Designs and documents test cases for software systems

• Executes test

• Executes exploratory test sessions

• Reports Test results and found defects

• Interprets test results, reports on test progress and issues

• Cooperates with analysis, architects, software development and service desk teams

• Reviews project documentation

• Takes test lead role in smaller projects

Requirements (all are must haves):

• Minimum 5 years of IT relevant professional experience

• Minimum 5 years project experience relevant to the profile or at similar position

• Minimum Bachelor degree level of education

• At least 1 certification among: ISTQB Advanced ; or an equivalent certification recognized internationally (subject to acceptance as a valid credential by the Contracting Authority); or 3 years' experience in test design above required minimum experience at similar position (8 years in total)

• English level: B2 confirmed by a certificate or be willing to take the exam

• Hands on experience in testing complex systems up to the amount of years per profile requested at the "minimum experience at similar position"

• Well versed and practical knowledge of software testing tools

• Expert in designing tests

• Analytical mind, attention to detail and an ability to pick things up quickly

• Presents excellent communication and documentation skills

• Knowledge of Software Development Lifecycle

• Experience with testing using Azure Devops Test Plans

• Hands-on experience with coding in one of languages - Python, java script, type script, VBS

• Hands-on experience with Test Automation using Playwright or equivalent

• Hands-on experience with operating on relational data base including SQL queries creation

• Hands-on experience with testing systems based on data platform

• Hands-on experience with testing applications systems based on web services
