Solution Architect (Data & Credit Risk)

Solution Architect (Data & Credit Risk)

Remote 3x from the office, 2x wfh (preferred from Gdansk, possible from Warsaw, Lodz)

B2B up to 215 net/h pln

Responsibilities:

• Act as a Solution Architect within the Information Capability domain, with responsibility for data architecture in the Credit Risk area

• Translate functional and non-functional requirements into high-level and detailed solution designs

• Define end-to-end architecture and provide guidance to development and project teams

• Facilitate collaboration with Product Owners, Process Owners, and SMEs to refine business requirements

• Work closely with stakeholders, architects, and delivery teams to ensure alignment and successful implementation

• Create and review architecture documentation from both business and technical perspectives

• Manage and maintain architecture processes, artifacts, and documentation standards

Requirements:

• Minimum 7 years of experience in IT, including hands-on experience in solution architecture roles

• Proven experience in designing and implementing large-scale enterprise solution architectures

• Strong understanding of data and information architecture, including data modelling and data management practices

• Experience with integration architecture and common integration patterns (batch and real-time processing)

• Strong experience with AWS cloud and related development tooling

• Hands-on experience with SQL and large-scale data environments (Big Data, ETL, data validation/testing)

• Strong hands-on experience with Snowflake, including working with large-scale data environments

• Understanding of security requirements and implementation of appropriate controls in enterprise solutions

• Experience with architecture modelling tools, notations, and best practices

• Strong business understanding of banking domain, especially credit risk and credit portfolio management

• Ability to translate business needs into technical solutions and align multiple stakeholders

• Strong communication skills and ability to build consensus within complex organizations

• Fluency in English (both written and spoken) 

Nice to have

• Hands-on experience in building and working with Snowflake-based data solutions

• Experience with ETL pipeline development using Snowflake

• Experience in setting up CI/CD for ETL pipelines in Snowflake

• Experience orchestrating ETL pipelines

• Experience working with Cloudera or similar big data platforms

• Exposure to Machine Learning concepts and data-driven modelling
