Responsibilities:
- Lead system enhancements, client onboarding, and business transformation projects across Operations
- Gather and analyze business requirements, ensure alignment with technology deliverables, and document Business Requirement Documents (BRDs)
- Create and manage detailed project plans, identify and mitigate risks, and ensure timely delivery in line with KPIs and SLAs
- Coordinate and execute User Acceptance Testing (UAT), regression testing, and Production Validation Testing for new functionalities
- Act as a primary point of contact for defect management, ensuring accurate tracking, resolution, and reporting of issues
- Support the implementation of new technology and process improvements in cooperation with internal and external stakeholders
- Build strong relationships with Technology, Relationship Management, Oversight, and Project Management teams to ensure efficient project execution
- Monitor team capacity and overtime, assign projects based on individual strengths and development potential
- Conduct root cause analyses, challenge the status quo, and drive continuous improvement initiatives
- Oversee adherence to regulatory requirements, internal controls, audit standards, and mandatory training
- Represent the department during audits and manage audit documentation and responses
- Support the manager in running team meetings, providing feedback, and participating in performance appraisals
- Organize and deliver training sessions, support knowledge sharing within the team
- Serve as a deputy for the manager and lead cross-departmental programmes where no project manager is assigned
- Chair internal and external stakeholder meetings, manage client expectations, and maintain positive working relationships
- Track project financials, challenge internal estimates, and communicate effectively with clients on cost-related matters
Requirements:
- Minimum 7 years of experience in Financial Services, with solid knowledge of Financial Operations
- Strong background in project and change management within a fast-paced environment
- Proven ability to lead complex projects independently and manage cross-functional teams
- Skilled in creating and executing project plans, identifying risks, and driving timely resolution
- Excellent English language skills, both written and verbal
- Exceptional communication, organizational, and analytical skills
- Experience in formulating business cases, test scenarios, and managing defect resolution
- Capable of engaging with senior stakeholders, negotiating project parameters, and presenting updates with confidence
- Experience supporting production issues, addressing system queries, and driving operational enhancements
- Familiarity with regulatory compliance and audit protocols in financial services
