Senior Frontend Developer

Responsibilities:

• UI Development: Create high-quality, modern user interfaces for developers, support teams, quants and finance staff
• Agile Participation: Actively engage in an Agile development process to deliver rapid and effective solutions
• Code Quality: Develop clean, maintainable, and reusable code while ensuring simplicity and high performance
• Code Reviews: Participate in thorough code and design reviews to maintain high standards
• Innovative Problem Solving: Proactively work on diverse and forward-thinking technical solutions
• Requirement Analysis: Collaborate closely with business teams to capture and define technical solutions aligned with requirements
• Cross-Team Collaboration: Maintain clear communication with support, development, and infrastructure teams
• Testing: Ensure rigorous automated testing through unit and integration tests
• Standards and Best Practices: Contribute to the establishment and adherence to architectural standards and development best practices
• Framework Evolution: Support the architectural and technical advancement of frameworks and APIs
• Team Mentorship: Influence team strategy and mentor junior developers

Requirements:

• Minimum 6 years of commercial experience, including 3+ years working with React
• At least 2 years of experience with TypeScript
• Solid understanding of data structures and computer science fundamentals
• Strong technical writing skills for documentation
• A high-quality, precise, and collaborative approach to development
• Very good command of English (oral and written)
• In-depth knowledge of modern JavaScript tooling, HTML, and CSS
• Experience publishing npm libraries
• Familiarity with RESTful web services and API design

Nice to have:

• Proficiency with Node.js and npm
• Experience with GraphQL
• Knowledge of micro-frontends
• Expertise in building developer tooling
• Understanding of messaging systems and event-driven architectures
• Background in Investment Banking or finance
