Senior Cloud Engineer with AWS & TypeScript

Mid Cloud Engineer with AWS & TypeScript

Responsibilities:

• Replatforming existing Addressable AdTech microservices to a scalable, testable, and modern TypeScript-based environment

• Working with existing serverless Python applications in the areas of Creative Workflow (ingestion, processing and distribution of advertising materials) and SAS & Operational Utilities (supporting advertising planning teams and enriching data in SAS360)

• Utilising AWS infrastructure, including Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB, S3, EventBridge, Step Functions, SNS and SQS

• Integration with internal APIs (Catalogue, Schedule, Junction) and external services (SKY API, SAS, YouTube, Google Sheets, Gmail Composer, IBM Cloudant)

• Application of best practices in architecture, automation, structured manufacturing cycle and observability

Requirements:

• Experience with TypeScript

• Experience with AWS Serverless

• Knowledge of AWS services: Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB, EventBridge, Step Functions, SNS, SQS

• Knowledge of AWS core services: IAM, CloudWatch, S3

• Experience with IaC (Terraform)

• Understanding of "well-architected" principles: security, operational excellence etc

• Knowledge of English at B2 level (minimum)

Nice to have:

• Knowledge of IBM Cloudant

• Experience with GitHub Actions

• Knowledge of Python

• Experience with Datadog

• Knowledge of AWS Chalice / AWS MediaConvert
