Senior AI Engineer with Node.js

Senior AI Engineer with Node.js

Responsibilities:

1. Architect and implement AI-first features in our prompt-to-design AI tool and ChatBot ecosystem
2. Build, customize, and deploy intelligent agents using LLMs (e.g., OpenAI, Anthropic) and LangGraph
3. Integrate and manage vector databases like Pinecone, Weaviate, or Chroma for memory, semantic search, and retrieval-augmented generation (RAG)
4. Engineer multi-step workflows and decision logic across agents for dynamic, adaptive responses
5. Fine-tune models or optimize prompts to align with domain-specific use cases
6. Own backend AI service architecture with a focus on Node.js, scalability, and efficiency
7. Integrate with third-party APIs and AI platforms to augment our AI capabilities
8. Collaborate with front-end engineers and product designers to ensure seamless user experience

Requirements:

1. 4+ years in software engineering with 2+ years focused on AI/LLM applications
2. Deep experience with Node.js in production-grade systems
3. Proficient in LangChain, LangGraph, or related agent orchestration frameworks
4. Hands-on with vector databases (e.g., Pinecone, Weaviate, Chroma) and semantic search techniques
5. Experience deploying AI agents in production
6. Strong understanding of prompt engineering, fine-tuning, API integrations, and retrieval pipelines
7. Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset
8. Strong communication skills and fluency in spoken and written English (C1)

Nice to have:

1. Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) and DevOps workflows
2. Experience working on AI tools for creative/design applications
3. Familiarity with front-end frameworks (React, Next.js) to bridge AI and UI layers
4. Exposure to tools like OpenAI Assistants API, Anthropic Claude, or Google Gemini
