Job description
As a recruitment company, DCG understands that every business is powered by experienced professionals. Due to our ongoing growth and the large number of recruitment projects we undertake for our partners, we are currently looking for:
SCALA & BIG DATA DEVELOPER
- Permanent contract
- Hybrid model (3 days remote)
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain data pipelines for risk reporting and analytics Use Cases
- Ensure integration of data from various upstream sources, transforming it into the bank's standardized formats
- Improve existing data flows to support efficient data processing and analytics capabilities
Requirements:
- Minimum 4 years of a professional experience
- Proficiency in Scala or Java with Spark
- Strong understanding of the Hadoop ecosystem, including YARN, MapReduce, Sqoop, and Hive
- Very good command of English (oral and written)
- Experience with data security capabilities such as encryption and anonymization
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work with distributed global teams
- Data-driven mindset with a focus on analytics
- Solid grounding in Financial Services
