Scala & Big Data Developer

SCALA & BIG DATA DEVELOPER

• Permanent contract
• Hybrid model (3 days remote)

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain data pipelines for risk reporting and analytics Use Cases
• Ensure integration of data from various upstream sources, transforming it into the bank's standardized formats
• Improve existing data flows to support efficient data processing and analytics capabilities

Requirements:

• Minimum 4 years of a professional experience
• Proficiency in Scala or Java with Spark
• Strong understanding of the Hadoop ecosystem, including YARN, MapReduce, Sqoop, and Hive
• Very good command of English (oral and written)
• Experience with data security capabilities such as encryption and anonymization
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work with distributed global teams
• Data-driven mindset with a focus on analytics
• Solid grounding in Financial Services
