Frontend Tech Lead (CMS)

Responsibilities:

• Technical Leadership:
• Provide mentorship and guidance to the team, helping developers grow their skills and adopt best practices
• Act as the primary technical contact for CMS-related solutions, ensuring smooth communication and mitigating challenges
• Collaborate with team members to define and implement technical direction, standards, and best practices, including clean code principles, TDD/BDD methodologies, and DevOps practices
• Development & Integration:
• Lead the design, development, and integration of CMS content with web applications built in Next.js
• Ensure the CMS integrates seamlessly with eCommerce APIs and aligns with the organization's content models
• Drive the evolution of the CMS to meet the needs of content creators, editors, and stakeholders
• Collaboration & Support:
• Partner with design and development teams to implement design system components and guidelines
• Actively engage with the Frontend Development community to share knowledge and foster innovation
• Support the Team Manager in recruiting and talent retention, as well as driving team development in a rapidly evolving environment
• Code Quality & Delivery:
• Ensure high-quality code standards, documentation, and test coverage
• Promote modern development methodologies such as pair programming, peer testing, continuous integration, and delivery

Requirements:

• 2+ years as a Frontend Tech Lead, preferably in a multicultural and virtual team environment
• Strong experience in Agile methodologies (Scrum, XP) and DevOps practices
• Proven ability to mentor and inspire team members, with excellent communication and leadership skills
• Proficiency in headless CMS platforms (e.g., Contentful) and front-end frameworks (preferably Next.js)
• Strong skills in web development technologies including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and a solid understanding of UX, design principles, and accessibility
• Expertise in design systems and maintaining high-quality development practices
• Results-oriented with a proven track record of meeting targets
• Analytical and creative problem-solver with a proactive attitude
• Strong collaboration and relationship-building abilities
