Job description

DCG is a modern technology company, gathering in its ranks IT related professionals. Due to the continuous development and the large number of recruitment projects that we carry out for our Partners, we are looking for a person for the position:

Data Engineer

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Gathering requirements regarding data products and building a backlog of features
Designing, implementing and monitoring cloud-based ETLs
Regular communication with stakeholders
Evaluation of new data vendors
Supporting local initiatives as an SME
Writing documentation

REQUIREMENTS:

At least 3 years of professional experience in a similar position
Good knowledge of Python or Scala
Working experience with Apache ecosystem (Spark / Hive / YARN) or MS Azure (Blob storage, Databricks) or GCP / AWS alternatives
Practical knowledge of version control in GIT
Good communication skills
Min. B2 in English, written and spoken

NICE TO HAVE:

Experience with processing large volumes of data
Familiarity with Linux and Bash scripting
Fair knowledge of algorithms and data structures
