Data Architect

Responsibilities:

• Architectural Leadership: Design and evolve scalable, modern data platform solutions using Azure, Databricks, and emerging technologies like Microsoft Fabric

• Team Enablement: Provide technical oversight and mentorship to international Data Engineering teams (UAE, India, Poland)

• Client Engagement: Act as a trusted advisor to the client, working closely with stakeholders and reporting directly to the Chief Data Architect

• SAFe Delivery Support: Guide teams in delivering quarterly increments aligned with SAFe methodology

• Innovation & Change: Introduce new practices, challenge outdated architectural patterns, and foster a culture of continuous improvement

• Cultural Sensitivity: Navigate organizational inertia with tact, respecting diverse cultural contexts and communication styles

• Strategic Influence: Facilitate architectural discussions, promote modern data paradigms, and help shape long-term data strategy

Requirements:

• Minimum 8 years of professional experience in data architecture and solution design

• Proven track record as a Solutions Architect with strong expertise in data engineering and platform modernization

• Ability to design and deliver end-to-end solutions in cloud environments, with a strong focus on Microsoft Azure

• Deep understanding of cloud-native architectures and enterprise-level project delivery, preferably in the finance sector

• Experience in building and optimizing data pipelines (Big Data, ELT/ETL, Databricks)

• Proficiency in Python and SQL

• Experience working in large, multinational organizations and leading distributed teams across multiple time zones and cultures

• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to challenge legacy systems and drive architectural transformation

• Familiarity with SAFe Agile delivery frameworks

• English level: B2+
