Driving several business intelligence dashboard projects within the Operations Metrics program from requirements to go-live, reporting to the Operations Metrics program manager
Working with several teams to launch BI dashboards: global Operations teams to understand and map requirements, Application Owners to understand the available data and perform gap analysis, Information Security teams to obtain necessary approvals
Analytics team to coordinate data warehousing, BI development team to, develop, test, go-live and resolve issues
Provide value add at each stage of the lifecycle (specifically in the requirements collection) and challenge status quo by leveraging market best practices regarding dashboard and data model design
Identify and mitigate risks and gaps related to the dashboards at each stage of the lifecycle, eg: design, functionality, connectivity, handover risks etc.
Innovate and define new insightful metrics to help Operations increase organizational effectiveness based on available data, add new functionalities to product backlog
Create proof of concept / mock dashboards to ensure alignment between all stakeholders and shorten time to go live
Run PMO activities for the stream / project / program to ensure that all parties are on track
Other duties might be assigned as needed
REQUIREMENTS:
At least 5+ years of experience working with Business Intelligence class software (developer or business analyst role)
At least 3+ years of experience managing IT projects, preferably in data analysis and warehousing
Solid understanding of visualization best practices and design thinking
Solid understanding of data governance and quality concepts
