Data Architect

DataArt's Data & Analytics Competence Center designs and implements modern data and analytics solutions for mid and large-sized organizations. We are looking for a Solution Architect who will join our rapidly growing team and provide Solution Architecture consulting services to our clients and delivery teams.

Project overview:

A principal role that is responsible for the solution architectures focused on the Data context. Specific attention is paid to the following areas: DG and DM, data structures, modeling aspects, data security practices, architectural practices, integration patterns, non-functional requirements in the data context.

Operating remotely and in person in numerous R&D centers, Center of Competence drives innovations in data & big data that ensure rapid expansion of our domain and technical expertise and greater customer satisfaction. Architects will yet be part-time involed into the project hands-on not to lose practice.

Responsibilities:

• Drive direct communications with business stakeholders
• Elaborate on all technical aspects for the development team, justify any architectural decision
• Lead implementation of the solutions from establishing project requirements and goals to solution "go-live"
• Participate in the entire cycle of sales\pre-sales activities
• Lead solution architecture evaluation and assessment activities

Requirements:

• 5+ years of work experience in a data engineering role or 5-10 completed projects
• Data Governance, Data Management background
• Experience working with Clouds (Azure, AWS, GCP)
• DWH/Data Platforms experience (Databricks)
• Knowledge of SQL and comfortable designing, writing and maintaining complex SQL queries
• Experience building data pipelines; ETL design, implementation, and maintenance
• Knowledge of data management fundamentals (data modeling, data quality, metadata management, data warehouse/lakes patterns, distributed systems)
• Spoken English
• Communication skills
• Sales / Pre- sales experience

Nice to have:

• Foundational knowledge on what sales engineering / consulting / pre-sales engineering roles are
• Experience with Snowflake
