Senior Server Engineer (AWS+Java)

At DAC.digital, we are constantly growing our business. By joining our company you will be responsible for the design, development, and maintenance of key product components. You will work both as an individual contributor and collaborate with your peers to drive the team’s success. You will be working on SaaS platform focused on speed, security, and flexibility. 

It is vital that you have:

• Expert level knowledge of Java SE 17+ and AWS platform – Lambda, DynamoDB, SQS
• Experience in working with real time Event driven systems, big data systems dealing with ingestion, storage and processing, building and maintaining SaaS platform that services > 100K users
• Strong knowledge of data structures, clean code, modularity and design patterns; at-least one dynamically typed language (Python, Ruby, Scala, Kotlin or similar) and scripting language (bash, powershell or similar)
• Excellent analytical / trouble-shooting and debugging skills

We will be more than happy if you have:

• Development Experience with security or monitoring platforms, infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, Ansible or similar, Kotlin, Golang or OPA Rego languages
• Good Knowledge of API-first systems and the ability to leverage 12-factor design principles, relational databases, caches, and queues, non-relational databases like MongoDB, Cassandra, or HBase, Agile and hybrid software development processes
• Solid understanding of various testing approaches and their strengths/weaknesses.

You will be responsible for supporting our team in:

• Design, implement, and test components for the platform, a real-time risk assessment and adaptive security system that helps customers proactively manage identity risk.
• Develop and maintain scalable big data pipelines, processes, and architectures to efficiently handle large datasets.
• Research and explore new technologies to drive product features. Assess requirements and design proposals with a focus on scalability and resilience.
• Collaborate with team members on code reviews, architectural discussions, and process improvements.
• Follow and promote software development best practices, including comprehensive automated testing.
• Being a self-starter who learns quickly in a fast-paced, hands-on environment and takes pride in your work.
