Data Engineer

At DAC.digital, we are constantly growing our business. As part of our growth strategy, we are starting a strategic partnership with one of the biggest consulting companies in Germany with a strong focus on Data Management. Their clients include major banking, insurance, retail, telecommunications, and automotive brands.

Key information:

Salary:

• 21 000 - 27 000 PLN net/month - pure B2B contract

• 18 500 –23 500  PLN net/month – B2B contract (days off included)

It is vital that you have:

• at least 5 years of experience in Data Engineering;

• strong Snowflake developer background (SQL, performance, warehouses, roles, security);

• terraform expert with proven, productive hands-on experience (IaC for Snowflake);

• several years of Data Engineering experience in complex DWH / cloud projects;

• experience with Teradata or legacy DWH migrations;

• able to work independently, reliably, and under high pressure;

• knowledge of English (min. B2);

• working in agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban);

• high communication skills;

• eager to learn and share knowledge.

Nice to have technologies:

• AWS

• Kubernetes

• dbt

• Airbyte or similar ELT tools

Technology stack:

You will be responsible for supporting our team in:

• designing, developing and optimizing Snowflake-based data solutions, including SQL development, performance tuning, warehouse sizing, role and security management;

• building and maintaining Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform for Snowflake environments in a reliable and scalable way;

• supporting and executing complex data engineering initiatives across large-scale DWH and cloud environments;

• participating in and driving legacy data warehouse (e.g. Teradata) migration projects to modern cloud architecture;.

• ensuring high performance, stability, and security of data platforms while working independently under pressure and tight deadlines.
