Telecom BSS Solution Architect

For our customer, a leader in consulting, technology services, and digital transformation, we are looking for a BSS Solution Architect with strong expertise in designing end-to-end architecture within the telecom industry. The role involves leading the analysis, definition, and documentation of technical BSS architecture and solutions within B2B E2E streams. You will ensure that all business requirements are met, adhere to the long-term target architecture, and follow general architecture principles. This role also involves governance responsibilities, including reviewing and approving designs to maintain the conceptual integrity of end-to-end (E2E) architectures.

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze, define, and document BSS technical architecture solutions across B2B E2E streams
• Ensure alignment with business requirements, target architecture, and general architecture principles
• Provide architecture governance by reviewing designs and ensuring conceptual integrity across solutions
• Oversee and drive the resolution of Architecture Violations (AV) and technical debt within E2E solutions
• Collaborate closely with domain architects to enhance integrated data models and ensure consistency with domain data

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in Telco, with a focus on BSS core areas such as CRM, Product Catalogue, and Order Management
• Hands-on experience with end-to-end solution architecture across multiple applications, especially in roles like Solution Architect or Tribe Architect, with a focus on application, data, and business architecture
• Strong familiarity with architecture principles and best practices in the telecom industry
• Experience in managing architecture assessments and presenting decision proposals to architecture boards
• Expertise in Telco Standards (e.g., TMF, OpenAPIs)
• Proven ability to collaborate with diverse stakeholders, including suppliers, solution/domain architects, and business representatives
• Strong in collaboration and giving architecture guidance to various stakeholders (like suppliers, solution and domain architects, business representatives)
• Experienced with architecture assessments and preparation, + presentation of decision proposals for architecture boards
• Strong communication skills, particularly in English

Recommended Skills:

• Deep understanding of B2B business and IT architecture complexities
• Experience with microservice architectures, cloud-native solutions, and SaaS IT solutions
• Expertise in EA tools (e.g., Sparx EA)
• Agile experience, with a solid background in cross-cultural collaboration
