Senior Data Engineer with SQL

We are seeking a Senior Data Engineer with SQL to join our client, a leading company in consulting and digital transformation.

Project information:

• Location: Wrocław, Poland

• Work Setup: Hybrid – 2 days/week in office

• Rate: 140 PLN/hour net + VAT (B2B contract)

• Languages: English (B2+ Required)

• Start date: ASAP/ depending on candidate availability

Project scope:

• Design, develop, and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, and database structures

• Implement and maintain automated database change processes using Liquibase (preferred) or Flyway

• Work with MS SQL Server to ensure query performance, database optimization, and scalability

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Data Scientists, Analysts, Developers) to ensure reliable data flows and integrations

• Contribute to building efficient, automated CI/CD database pipelines (GitLab)

• Troubleshoot data-related issues and provide solutions for process improvements

• Ensure best practices in database security, performance, and data quality

Requirements:

• Strong knowledge of SQL and stored database procedures

• Proven experience with MS SQL Server (focus on optimization and performance tuning)

• Hands-on experience with Liquibase (preferred) or Flyway

• Familiarity with automating database deployments using GitLab pipelines or similar CI/CD tools

• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
