Senior Backend Developer (Crypto & Kubernetes)

The role focuses on designing and building core backend services for ORA, enabling secure cloud integration with SEF using KMIP and Barbican.

• Budget: 160-180 PLN net /h - b2b 

• Project length: Long-term  

• Only candidates with citizenship in the European Union and residence in Poland 

• Start date: ASAP (depending on the candidate's availability) 

Project scope: 

• Design and implement backend services for ORA core, integrating with KMS via KMIP for services such as Barbican and Ceph 

• Develop and maintain Kubernetes-based infrastructure, including Custom Resource Definitions (CRDs), operators, and controllers 

• Build secure communication layers leveraging TLS and advanced data encryption techniques 

• Collaborate with architecture and infrastructure teams to ensure seamless integration across management layers 

• Implement unit and integration tests to ensure code quality and reliability 

• Contribute to system design decisions and provide technical leadership for backend architecture 

Requirements: 

• Strong backend development experience in Java, Golang, or Python  

• Solid understanding of cryptography, e.g., TLS, data encryption 

• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes, including infrastructure and management layers 

• Experience with OpenStack 

• Experience in unit and integration testing for backend services 

• Ability to work on complex distributed systems and core services 

• Strong logical thinking, independence, and problem-solving skills 

• Fluent in English (minimum C1)
