SAP EWM Functional Consultant (L3 Support)

We are currently looking for an experienced SAP EWM Functional Consultant (L3 Support) to join an international SAP Application Management Services (AMS) team responsible for ensuring the stability, continuity, and optimization of enterprise warehouse management solutions.

As a Senior SAP EWM Functional Consultant, you will provide third-level functional expertise for SAP Extended Warehouse Management (EWM), supporting production environments and resolving complex business-critical issues. Working closely with ABAP developers, SAP Basis specialists, and support teams, you will play a key role in maintaining operational excellence, ensuring system stability, and supporting mission-critical warehouse operations.

Project scope:

• Provide L3 functional support for SAP EWM production issues and complex incidents.

• Resolve high-complexity break-fix issues and small to medium Change Requests (CPRs).

• Perform root cause analysis across SAP EWM processes and system integrations.

• Collaborate closely with the dedicated ABAP L3 consultant to resolve technically complex issues.

• Support platform stabilization and ensure operational continuity.

• Advise internal SAP EWM teams on solution design and SAP best practices.

• Support testing, validation, and deployment of fixes and enhancements.

• Ensure compliance with SAP standards and operational guidelines.

• Work closely with cross-functional teams, including SAP Basis and Level 1.5 Helpdesk.

• Contribute to the continuous improvement of the SAP EWM support environment.

Competence demands:

• Extensive hands-on experience working with SAP EWM in productive enterprise environments.

• Strong functional knowledge of:

  • Inbound warehouse processes

  • Outbound warehouse processes

  • Internal warehouse processes

  • RF Framework

• Experience with SAP EWM integrations, including SAP ERP/S4HANA, interfaces, and queues.

• Previous experience working in an AMS or production support environment.

• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with the ability to resolve complex production issues.

• Experience collaborating with ABAP, SAP Basis, and support teams.

• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

• Ability to work effectively in a high-pressure operational support environment.

• Fluent English.

Nice to have:

• Experience supporting large-scale enterprise SAP landscapes.

• Knowledge of warehouse automation processes.

• Experience participating in SAP EWM implementation or migration projects.

• SAP EWM certification.

• Familiarity with ITIL processes and service management practices.
