Treasury Data Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Treasury Data Engineer to play a pivotal role in automating and digitizing financial processes through our client's new SAP Aspire platform.

As a Treasury Data Engineer, you will be integral to data squad, ensuring the smooth functioning and integration of financial systems. Your main responsibilities will include the design, implementation, and maintenance of data pipelines, managing ETL processes, and collaborating with IT and business teams to foster seamless data integration.

Location: hybrid (2 days per week from the office)

Rate: b2b: 220 - 250 netto+vat / h

Start: ASAP (ongoing project)

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain efficient data pipelines between core platforms and SAP systems.
• Manage and optimize ETL processes for high-quality data integration.
• Collaborate across IT and business teams using tools like DataIku, Exasol, and APOS.
• Engage with business stakeholders to understand data needs and deliver actionable insights.
• Maintain technical documentation and implement best practices in data engineering.
• Participate in risk management and ensure compliance with internal and external regulations.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 5 years of work experience with at least 2 years in data engineering.
• Previous experience in financial services or banking, with a solid understanding of financial markets and banking operations.
• Proficient in SQL, Python, and other relevant data management tools.
• Strong track record in data management and operational model execution within transformation projects.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and proactively, with a strong sense of initiative and drive.
