QA Engineer (80% remote/20% Berlin)

Hi!

We are looking for a highly skilled Infrastructure QA Engineer to ensure the highest quality standards for infrastructure services that support network, compute, and storage capabilities. You will be part of the ICE delivery team, focusing on Datacenter and Network delivery units, ensuring robust and secure software testing and development practices.

Location: 80% Remote / 20% Berlin (1 week per month)

Rate: 100 - 250 PLN netto plus VAT / h

Responsibilities

• Design and execute detailed test scenarios for infrastructure components, documenting and resolving defects.
• Integrate continuous testing practices within the CI/CD pipeline using tools such as GitLab, Jenkins, and ArgoCD.
• Develop automated test scripts and conduct security, functional, regression, and performance tests.
• Work closely with the architecture and product management teams to co-design and test new products and features.
• Facilitate and participate in scrum rituals and backlog grooming sessions.

Requirements

• Senior-level experience in product testing, particularly in complex software systems and infrastructure services.
• Strong technical background in Python, API testing, microservices, and using automation tools like pytest.
• In-depth knowledge of network protocols, virtualization, containerization (including Kubernetes), and cloud storage technologies.
• Exceptional analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills with a focus on delivering sustainable solutions.
• Proven experience in designing tests for functional, regression, security, and availability concerns.
• Experience with Linux command line and DevOps practices, including CI/CD and IaaS configurations.
• Fluent in English, both spoken and written, with a minimum of C1 proficiency.

Nice2have:

• Hands-on experience with network hardware testing and automated infrastructure testing.
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs testing, various hypervisors like VMWare ESXi, and tools such as TestRail, Jira, and Confluence.
• Exposure to public clouds like GCP, Azure, and AWS is highly advantageous.
