Network Specialist Cloud

We are looking for a Network Specialist Cloud to join one of our public sector clients based in Warsaw. You'll be responsible for keeping a large enterprise network running smoothly, from physical cabling and device installation to cloud networking and automation.

Requirements

The ideal candidate will be responsible for:

• Administering, monitoring and troubleshooting IP networks and structural cabling.

• Performing physical and logical network changes, installing/removing devices, cabling, configuration updates.

• Providing 2nd line support to system and network users.

• Creating and maintaining technical documentation and operating procedures.

• Advising on network improvements, upgrades, and infrastructure changes.

To excel in this role, you'll need:

• At least 5+ years of IT experience and 5+ years in a network specialist role.

• Education at Level 4 or above.

• Strong understanding of TCP/IP, IP routing and Ethernet switching protocols.

• Good knowledge of network services (DNS, DHCP, NTP) and endpoint OS network configuration (Windows, Linux, iOS).

• Solid grasp of wired/wireless technologies (Wi-Fi, 802.1x/EAP) and application-layer security (HTTPS/TLS, PKI, X.509).

• Hands-on experience with enterprise networking hardware (Cisco routers/switches, wireless controllers, firewalls).

• Experience with stateful and stateless traffic filtering in large enterprise environments.

• Strong troubleshooting skills, attention to detail, and ability to work under pressure with minimal supervision.

• Physical fitness to rack-mount and cable network appliances as needed.

• Valid category B driving licence and willingness to travel within Europe occasionally (up to 15 trips/year).

• Required certification: CCNA or equivalent from another network vendor.

• English B2 level certification or higher.

Nice to have:

• Very good knowledge of Azure network services and good knowledge of AWS networking.

• Hands-on experience with network automation and DevOps tools (Terraform, Ansible, Git, or similar).

• Working knowledge of DevOps concepts: CI/CD, pipelines, infrastructure-as-code.

• Scripting experience in Python, PowerShell, or shell.

• Familiarity with DevOps data formats: JSON, YAML, XML.
