Data Engineer (1 day in the office/week)

For our Client – a British fintech company – we’re looking for a skilled Data Engineer.

📍 Location: Warsaw, hybrid model (1x per week in the office)

What you will do:

• Develop innovative data solutions using pipelines, modeling, and ETL design.
• Solve complex business problems by building scalable data architectures.
• Automate data engineering pipelines and end-user applications.
• Provide solutions for DevOps framework problems.
• Integrate new data techniques through training and experimentation.
• Source and process streaming data as per our strategy.

Our expectations:

• Strong understanding of data usage, dependencies, and extraction from large-scale data.
• Experience in ETL design, data quality testing, and modern code practices.
• Advanced skills in Python, PySpark, SQL/PostgreSQL, GitLab, MS Excel, and AWS tools.
• Intermediate skills in MS Office Visual Basic, Oracle DB, and business objects.
• Basic knowledge of C#, JavaScript, SAS 4GL, JIRA tools, and Tableau.
• Data warehousing and modeling experience.
• Experience in regulated environments.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
