We are looking for: Application Support Specialist / Application Administrator
Location: 100% remotely (after pandemic: Wrocław, partialy remotely)
This is a challenging engagement where for the start the applications are being migrated to new data centre. Besides supporting the migration, the team will be responsible for administration, monitoring, troubleshooting and fixing issues related to large number of applications.
We are looking for various specialists in the field of technical application support, application administration, operation, installation & configuration.
Required qualifications to be successful in this role:
- Former background with application technical support (administration or operation), including analysis and troubleshooting of issues
- Hands on with Windows Server, Linux or AIX and corresponding scripting
- Experience with installation and deployment of applications to various environments
- Acquaintance with systems and infrastructure monitoring tools (e.g. Nagios)
- Familiarity with analysing data in database (MS SQL, Oracle), SQL and data patching
- Technical experience with Application Servers configuration and troubleshooting (e.g. IIS, Tomcat, Weblogic, Websphere, JBoss)
- Good command of spoken and written English
- Willingness to learn and acquire new knowledge
Nice to have:
- Practical knowledge of scheduling tools (preferably Tivoli Workload Scheduler)
- Familiarity with Virtualization aspects (e.g. VMWare)
- Experience with administration / configuration of Databases (e.g. Oracle, MS SQL)
- Knowledge of automatic deployment tools (e.g. XL Deploy, Jenkins)
