Position Context:
We are looking for a highly motivated individual for the position of a Solution Architect to join the Legal Operations team.
Responsibilities:
Analyzing, evaluating, and integrating SaaS solutions to ensure adherence to enterprise standards and practices while aligning with business priorities and the wider Roche IT ecosystem
Lead and control cross-solution architecture design questions with developers, vendors, internal and external partners and design authorities.
Architecture review of currently existing solutions to ensure continuous improvement and technical debt management
Research, evaluation, proof of concepts and adoption of new solutions
Designing non-functional requirements, screen vendor capabilities, and evaluate solution integration capabilities
Translating Business requirements into technical architecture. Creates and owns the Solution Architecture documentation
Seeking opportunities to create additional value and improve business processes
Partner with the Product team and the Enterprise Architect to establish a high-level solution intent to showcase product value for stakeholders
Requirements:
5-10 years of relevant IT experience, designing and implementing technology solution
Expertise working with SaaS solutions and vendors
Practical experience with public clouds (AWS/Azure/GCP)
Experience with SaaS platforms (e.g. Salesforce, ServiceNow, etc.)
Knowledge of middleware architecture and ESB/EAI-based integration.
Experience creating architectural documentation (e.g. UML).
Expertise in multiple technology domains (e.g. Cloud, Automation, Data, AI)
Broad understanding of integration (middleware), security, infrastructure, DevOps layers, with a proven ability to collaborate effectively across diverse teams
Ability to quickly comprehend the functions and capabilities of new technologies
Demonstrated ability to develop and articulate a vision for one or more technology domains
Ability to understand the long-term („big picture”) and short-term perspectives of situations
Experience in working in a multicultural and international environment
Demonstrated effective oral, written, public, and interpersonal communication skills
Demonstrated ability to frame complex issues and persuade a wide and diverse audience
