Backend PHP Developer (Laravel)

We’re looking for an experienced Backend Developer (PHP + Laravel) to join our dynamic and international tech team. You'll be building brand-new products from scratch for movie industry— not maintaining legacy systems. Think greenfield development, high-impact features, and modern infrastructure.

As part of our tight-knit, multicultural team, you'll work on digital solutions used daily by thousands of professionals worldwide, contributing directly to the evolution of a globally recognized brand.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Develop and optimize backend services and APIs using PHP 8+ and Laravel
• Design scalable and robust architectures from the ground up
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Product Managers, Designers, and Frontend Engineers
• Write clean, testable, maintainable code with performance in mind
• Take part in architectural planning and shape the technical direction of the platform
• Work in a hybrid setup — mostly remote, with creative team sessions in Kraków

What We’re Looking For

• 3+ years (Mid) or 5+ years (Senior) of experience with PHP backend development
• Proven expertise in Laravel, RESTful APIs, and modern backend practices
• Experience with cloud platforms, ideally AWS (S3, EC2, Lambda)
• Solid understanding of MySQL/PostgreSQL
• Familiarity with Git, Docker, and modern CI/CD pipelines
• Focus on clean architecture, code quality, and testing
• Proactive team player with excellent communication skills
• Nice to have: basic knowledge of React or Vue.js
