 This role is Hybrid, PolandCornerstone OnDemand is looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join our Learning team overseeing the maintenance and development of Talent Experience Platform components. As a member of this team, you will handle building software products according to the requirements, fix customer issues in the existing functionalities as well as play an active role in shaping system architecture. The role requires hands-on programming skills, AWS knowledge and strong analytical skills. The position itself will allow you to grow as a software development engineer and gain unique experience working in international company and inclusive environment.

In this role, you will…

• Work with other team members, Architects & Product Managers to enhance Talent Experience Platform by identifying opportunities for improvements, making recommendations, and implementing optimizations
• Develop microservices
• Mentor other engineers and promote best software engineering practices across design, build, and test
• Collaborate with outstanding team of engineers across the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) in Europe, India and the USA

You’ve got what it takes if you have experience with…

• Java 17/21
• AWS services (DynamoDB, Lambda, SQS, SNS, ECS) and CloudFormation
• REST APIs
• Docker
• Spring Framework
• Microservices and CI/CD (Jenkins)
• Domain-Driven Design
• Unit tests
• Knowledge of NoSQL databases (Redis, Elasticsearch)
• Building large-scale systems using OOP and SOLID principles
• Working in a start-up or global software environment
• Working proficiency in English
