You will be part of the Technology department responsible for the development of the Controlant solution family including Facility Monitoring system, Supply Chain Monitoring system, Reseller system, and other internal systems for use within Controlant support and production. Utilizing a Development Life Cycle (Innovation Process), you will work with technical and non-technical associates in defining business and technical requirements to develop new functions or redesign existing functionality.
We are looking for a Senior Full-Stack Developer with strong Python skills and experience in React who will join Controlant's Device Management team. Currently the team consists of 5 members and is responsible for Controlant’s device life cycle management, monitoring solutions, and device logistics solutions.
What are the responsibilities?
- Responsible for analysis and definition of functional and design requirement specifications for the team’s components, based on user requirements, in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
- Works with the Engineering Manager and Tech Lead in user requirement analysis and system designs.
- Responsible for maintenance, improvements, and 3rd level support of the team’s components.
- Collaborates with internal and external stakeholders to optimize designs for simplicity, efficiency, cost, and value for customers.
- Responsible for designing, implementing, and releasing components according to the company's procedures and quality standards.
- Responsible for documenting and communicating the team’s component specifications, user instructions and manuals, validation documentation, and other component-related information.
- Can be called upon for assistance in other functions within the company, after proper training, where that is required.
- Can be assigned to train new employees that join the Technology department.
- Seeks ways to improve the innovation process in terms of efficiency and quality and implements changes in collaboration with the Engineering Manager.
- Is responsible for comparing the currently applied development methodology of its team to new standards and implementing changes in collaboration with the Engineering Manager.
- Will partake in testing of components implemented by other teams.
What are the qualifications?
- University degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or similar – or experience in Software Development.
- Extensive experience in Python programming.
- .NET expertise is a plus.
- Hands-on experience with React.
- Familiarity with Angular is a plus.
- Experience with AWS and Terraform is a plus.
- Self-motivated team player who leads by example.
- Good written and spoken English.
