We are seeking an experienced AWS Infrastructure Engineer to join our dynamic IT team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing robust and scalable cloud-based infrastructure solutions on Amazon Web Services (AWS). You will ensure the availability, performance, and security of our cloud environments, while collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions that meet our business needs.
What are the responsibilities?
- Design and deploy scalable, secure, and high-availability cloud infrastructure solutions on AWS.
- Monitor and maintain AWS environments to ensure optimal performance and availability.
- Automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration, and deployment using tools like Terraform.
- Perform regular security assessments and implement best practices to protect cloud infrastructure.
- Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure-related issues, ensuring minimal downtime.
- Collaborate with development, operations, and security teams to support and improve cloud-based applications.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest AWS services and solutions, recommending and implementing new features as appropriate.
- Document infrastructure designs, processes, and procedures for operational efficiency.
- Empower development teams to deliver value in an efficient, automated, and safer way .
What are the qualifications?
- B.Sc. degree or higher in a relevant field, or 3-year equivalent work experience
- Proven experience as an AWS Infrastructure Engineer or in a similar role.
- Strong expertise in AWS services such as EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, VPC, IAM, and CloudWatch.
- Proficiency in infrastructure-as-code (IaC) tools like Terraform and CloudFormation
- Solid understanding of networking concepts, security best practices, and cloud architecture principles.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex infrastructure issues.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Self-motivated with an ability to work autonomously
- Solution-oriented with a strong service mindset
- AWS certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, AWS Certified DevOps Engineer) are highly desirable
