SAP PP Specialist

Role Overview

We’re seeking an SAP PP Specialist to own master data, streamline production planning workflows, and support day-to-day shop-floor operations. You’ll partner with Manufacturing, Logistics, and IT to keep orders flowing, capacity balanced, and reporting accurate.

Responsibilities

• Master Data Ownership (Materials, BOMs, Routings, Work Centers): Maintain, troubleshoot, and optimize PP master data to ensure reliable production execution.

• Production Orders & Scheduling: Support creation, release, confirmation, and settlement of orders; manage capacity planning and sequencing in SAP PP.

• Process Analysis & Optimization: Assess current PP processes, identify bottlenecks, and recommend/prioritize system or procedural improvements.

• Reporting & KPIs: Develop or customize reports and dashboards to track efficiency, order progress, resource utilization, and on-time delivery.

• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with Manufacturing, Logistics, and IT to resolve operational issues and drive continuous improvement.

Required Qualifications

• Comprehensive understanding of SAP PP master data and transactional activities (materials, BOMs, routings, work centers).

• Hands-on experience with production order management, confirmations, and capacity planning/scheduling.

• Proven ability to analyze PP workflows and deliver measurable improvements.

• Experience building or adapting production performance reports/KPIs.

• Strong teamwork and communication skills across operations and IT.

• German language: at least B1 level.

Nice to Have

• Experience with integration points (MM, SD, QM, PM, WM/EWM).

• Knowledge of SAP S/4HANA, Fiori apps, and CDS views.

• Background in discrete or process manufacturing environments.
