Weibel Scientific A/S (Weibel) specialises in pioneering technologies that advance the monitoring of drone activities and precision radar systems for tracking the direction and speed of moving objects. The company’s diverse portfolio spans multiple sectors, including defence, aerospace, and the protection and surveillance of critical infrastructure. The product is multi microcontroller signal processing entity, where the software ranges from embedded modules for the microcontrollers and FPGAs and signal processing in a connected high-end server equipped with GPUs, which is connected to a computer with the GUI application for configuration and monitoring.

Project Overview

Development of Automated Test, Deployment Tools, User Interface components and modules for External Interfaces for the Product and Processing software.

Customer’s team composition

The Customer’s team composition is organised in domains related to the functional and skills-based areas of the software.

There are currently five domains:

1. Embedded software

2. Processing Software for Instrumentation

3. Processing Software for Surveillance

4. Algorithm Engineering

5. User Interaction software

Additionally, there is a Software Solution Architect and two software project managers. The domain teams are in the size of 8-14 team members and work in cross-domain teams when delivering to projects.

Software Test Automation developers

We have a need for test automation on components, which can be embedded, executables and UI components. Hence, the primary skills are in the software test automation area, where Wiebel currently does not have any (or only very few) personnel or technologies. Hence, this will have to be discussed.

Responsibilities:

- Design and develop automated tests as required via test/requirement specifications

- Deliver reviewed, verified and tested functionality according to Weibel processes

- Cooperate with the team (Scrum, Domain or other) to achieve the common goal
