MDM Solution Specialist

Project overview:

How much master data does it take to run a webshop with more than 1,250,000 materials in four countries? How many requirements must be met to stock the same materials in a fully automated central warehouse?

If you would like to become one of the MDM Solution Specialists, who take care of the critical MDM applications handling all the master data, we now have an open position. The team is passionate about .NET, MS SQL, & master data solutions in general - and they always aim to deliver a great experience to the end users, and they take pride in delivering clean and effective code. 

What will you be doing?

Your primary task will be to deliver new features on our existing platforms for master data management, master data distribution and other supporting applications.

In the team we truly believe that the best solutions are made when we have a solid business understanding. Therefore, you will be required to align and collaborate with our business partners to understand the demand, to challenge business on solution requirements and to design the possible solutions on an architectural level with the team.

Responsibilities:

•  Development and/or configuration of new functionality as requested by prioritized projects or tasks prioritized by the product owner
•  Configuration via UI, e.g. new data structures, authorization, objects, exports etc.
•  New development as defined by solution architect, where required for the task
•  SQL work as required for importing or exporting new data
•  Debug and fix issues when functionality or systems break (code analysis)
•  Team-prioritized maintenance tasks, e.g. upgrade components
•  3rd level support:
•  Create/maintain users and authorizations (Configuration via UI)
• Data investigations (SQL)
• One-time data extracts (SQL)
• Investigate units of work where users are unable to proceed (stuck or containing error messages) (SQL / UI)

What we wish to see in you

We are looking for a responsible, committed and technically oriented specialist, who wants to be a part of a strong team working in an international environment. To succeed in the job, you must have flair for .NET technologies and MS SQL. Like the rest of the team, you must aim to deliver a high user experience and it is important for you to deliver clean and effective code (e.g. SOLID principles).

Furthermore, we envisage that you….

•  Have a relevant education or degree
•  Good analytical and debugging skills
•  Experience and/or strong interest in
• .Net framework: 3+years
• SQL: at least 3-5 years
• Web API technology (SOAP/REST): 1+ years
• Azure cloud solutions (API Manager, Logic Apps, Function Apps, KeyVaults, Application configuration, cosmos databases etc)
•  Knowledge of desktop technologies, such as WPF: Any
•  Practical knowledge and experience with unit tests: 2+ years
