Client: Systematic is an international software supplier and systems integrator of mission-critical systems with core competencies within complex management information systems, integration of different IT-systems, structured data exchange, and project management. The headquarters are located in Aarhus, Denmark. The company employs over 1000 people in offices in Copenhagen, UK, US, and Finland.
Project Overview: In our Systematic Defence department, all products have an open API that allows additional functionalities to be built externally to the product. As part of integrating our products in our customers’ environment, customer-specific extensions are often required to get the maximal value out of our products to the customer. The development of these extensions is the responsibility of the Bespoke Applications program. The Bespoke Applications program works closely together with the customers to define and develop the required customer-specific extensions to ensure requirements are fulfilled, delivered on time, and in the right quality.
You will be working closely with our customers to design and develop new features and roll out mission-critical systems that create value by simplifying decision-making. Development takes place in an agile and experienced scrum environment where you will be working with project teams in Denmark and internationally. Your tasks will cover a broad range of responsibilities within areas such as solution design, technical support, software development, and testing.
Your everyday tasks include:

Your everyday tasks include:
- Designing and developing customer-specific extensions to our core products to meet customer requirements
- Implementing and supporting solutions
- Helping to ensure that projects are delivered within the agreed scope and on time
- Coordinating with internal and external stakeholders, including customers, sub-contractors, consultants, and colleagues within Systematic
- Keeping up to date with Systematic products to ensure the alignment of customer expectations and product roadmaps, maximizing value for both our customers and our products
Technical Requirements:
- 3+ years of software engineering experience
- Experience with the following technologies: Java, Angular, OSGi, JUnit, Mockito, Jira, Team City, Git, and IntelliJ, SQL, TypeScript
- Experience with C# and Android would be a plus
- You have experience in agile methods such as Scrum and Safe

Security clearance:
We’re working with a highly fragile piece of software and all employees working on the project must obtain security clearance from the authorities of the country in which they are employed. (Handled by the client organization). If the applicant is not a citizen in a Nordic or a NATO country, or have lived in such a country for the past 7 years, it must be noted that a security clearance may be impossible to obtain, as the authorities of the applicant's home country might be unable to conduct the necessary investigation of the person. In these cases work on the project will therefore not be possible.
