About the project:

The cluster Global Financial Crime Prevention Platform provides a global and holistic IT platform for Sanctions Screening of cross border payment data. We are looking for software engineers with strong experience in supporting Compliance business processes, specifically for developing of software in the Sanctions software eco system.

The focus of your work is development, enhancement, implementation and maintenance of the Compliance IT solutions on the Sanctions screening platform of Commerzbank, which is based on a vendor provided software that is highly customized and enhanced by Commerzbank developed applications.

What you will be doing? 👇

• Be a trusted Java developer and technical adviser to collegues and solve easy and complex development challenges.
• Create and deliver best practice solutions,
• Work with collegues on reliable and performance optimized code and solutions
• Design and implement plans for deploying complex applications via CI/CD pipelines
• Support creation of backup, and disaster recovery solutions
• Partner with project teams, functional architects, systems specialists and other technical resources from within the bank and our vendors
• Support projects from inception to production

Which technology & skills are important for us? 👌

• Very good knowledge of Python
• Good knowledge of Data & ML Engineering
• Good knowledge of Google Cloud Platform
• Basic knowledge of Cloud Infrastructure (CI/CD, Kubernetes, Terraform etc.)
• English (B2 level)
