Senior Data Scientist - Sales Analytics

Do you have experience with Data Science use cases and a passion for pioneering technologies such as Artificial Intelligence and Reinforcement Learning? If so, join our BDAA Sales Analytics team! You will work closely with our stakeholders to develop optimized pricing solutions. Our platforms can set individual prices above standard rates while considering market price sensitivity and the unique behavior of customers. Utilizing cutting-edge technologies like Google Cloud Platform, APIs, Kafka, Python, and SQL, we are paving the way for smarter and more effective banking.

You will be responsible for 👇

• Expanding the existing Reinforcement Learning framework for deposits to other products, such as FX pricing
• Conducting deployments, including monitoring and optimizing models
• Validating model results
• Data preprocessing, feature engineering, and analyses to identify patterns and trends
• Close coordination and collaboration with stakeholders to specify requirements and evaluate Data Science use cases
• Creating and maintaining technical documentation, and adhering to AI governance guidelines
• Onboarding and mentoring juniors, as well as knowledge sharing within BDAA

Which technology & skills are important for us? 👌

• University degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics or a comparable field
• Solid knowledge and experience with Machine Learning use cases, ideally with Reinforcement Learning
• Excellent programming skills in Python and SQL
• Experience with cloud solutions - preferably Google Cloud Platform (specifically BigQuery, Cloud Composer) and event-driven architecture (Kafka)
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills with the ability to work in cross-location and international teams
• Strong communication skills in English

Nice to have:

• Communicative knowledge of German
