For that type of person we have a role waiting for you as a Junior Test Engineer in the Document Lifecycle cluster, which is located in Łódź on Wersalska street.
Description of the Cluster:
The mission of the cluster Document Lifecycle (DL) is to enable a paperless bank. DL creates a globally consistent and complete Commerzbank archive and front-end infrastructure for document generation, scanning, electronic transport and archiving for bank and client.
The cluster is responsible for a range of more than 70 applications including standard products such as Assentis DocFamily, Doxis4 and SAPERION as well as inhouse-developed software. The main platforms in use are Linux/Solaris, Windows and Mainframe (IBM z/OS).
Description of the position:
A Junior Test Engineer is responsible for conducting automated and manual tests to ensure the software created by developers fits its purpose. Assessing codes is one of the main duties of test engineers.
Your main tasks:
- Design test plan and test strategy, writing test cases, executing test cases, opening bugs, verifying bugs
- Develop and automate tests for software validation (also used for regression tests)
- Test and prove that the software meets major architectural requirements
- Prove for scalability and performance of a software
- Ensuring the quality of the system as a whole
- Work with developers and business and test engineers (automate tests)
- Develop and automate tests for software validation (also used for regression tests)
- Detect bug issues
- Prepare file defect reports and report test progress
- Analyze data via SQL
What we expect from you:
- Basic knowledge: ability to analyze processes and requirements (User Story) for test sets
- Basic knowledge: practical knowledge with ALM / HPQC
- Basic knowledge: empirical knowledge with Jira
- Testing skills (design test plan and test strategy, writing test cases, executing test cases, opening bugs, verifying bugs)
- First experience with Test Automation Framework for SOAP/REST
- Basic knowledge of HTTP/REST web services
Attitudes / experiences / other skills:
- First experience of working in an agile, fast-paced environment (would be nice)
- Languages: English and German (optional)
- Critical thinker and problem-solving skills
- Team player
- Good time-management skills
- Great interpersonal and communication skills
- Willingness to travel to Frankfurt (headquarters) by appointment
Additional skills:
- Experience with HP Service Manager
- Knowledge in using Hewlett-Packard UFT (Unified Functional Test)
