Fullstack Developer Intern - Risk Models & Calculations - Młodzi w Łodzi 2025

„Practice in Lodz – summer internships is a project organized as part of the “Youth in Lodz” program, whose aim is to enable students and graduates of Lodz universities to gain professional experience. The project can be attended by people up to 30 y.o. who are students or graduates (up to one year after graduation) of Lodz public or non-public universities. We look for students after second year of technical, mathematical, business, finance, economic or related studies.

📢 Join our team as a Fullstack Developer Intern! 📢

During internship you will work as a Fullstack developer who is developing and maintaining our applications (depending on bank standards and business requirements) what would cover defect analysis, testing, bug fixing and problem-solving.

You will also have the opportunity to develop in a new technology stack, which is a Microservices architecture approach based mainly on Java 11, Spring, React.js, Apache Camel and REST. Currently, we are in the process of transitioning from the old architecture to the new one. Our new applications are hosted in Cloud environments (Azure/GCP, OpenShift container platform). We count on you to support our transformation.

What you will be doing? 👇

• Supporting the team in a daily tasks and activities.
• Software development, defect analysis, bug fixing and problem solving.
• Participating in software configuration and development.
• Creating and performing tests.
• Creation of technical documentation.

Which technology & skills are important for us? 👇

• Basic knowledge of JS based frontend: React.js
• Basic knowledge of JavaScript, HTML5, CSS
• Basic knowledge of Java 8+, object-oriented analysis and design, Spring Framework
• Source code tool, (e.g.: GIT)
• Development of Web Services REST/SOAP/XML/WSDL
• English B2 level – it is our business language

Nice to have:

• Willingness to learn TypeScript, SQL, Bash, Testing frameworks (JUnit/Mockito), Selenium
