Cloud Engineer Intern - Big Data - Młodzi w Łodzi 2025

„Practice in Lodz – summer internships is a project organized as part of the “Youth in Lodz” program, whose aim is to enable students and graduates of Lodz universities to gain professional experience. The project can be attended by people up to 30 y.o. who are students or graduates (up to one year after graduation) of Lodz public or non-public universities. We look for students after second year of technical, mathematical, business, finance, economic or related studies.

📢 Join our team as a Cloud Engineer Intern! 📢

In your role as a Cloud Engineer you will be working in the Big Data Cluster, which is the enabler for data scientists and provides a huge collection of data and a data science workbench in one place.

On a daily basis you will develop products based on database technology which are running in the On-Premise or Cloud. Your responsibilities will encompass the full Software Development Lifecycle including analysis, architecture, testing and also supporting during production issues during normal working hours.

What you will be doing? 👇

• Assist in the implementation and deployment of Google Cloud solutions for various projects.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and optimize cloud-based applications.
• Participate in designing and improving cloud infrastructure and security solutions.
• Conduct research and provide insights on cloud industry trends, tools, and best practices.
• Support the team in documentation, testing, and providing technical feedback.
• Team collaboration using Agile methodology

Which technology & skills are important for us? 👇

• Basic understanding of cloud computing and Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Basic knowledge of Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
