In your role as an Automation Test Engineer, you will be responsible for co-creating new test approach, testing our bank wide processes (including technical implementation of BPMN workflows). That’s includes developing, configuring, and maintaining automated tests.

Your tasks will be to ensure high stability of our applications and processes on production environments. That includes providing proper test documentation and necessary preventive actions needed to have stable production rollouts without incidents.

We are searching for a person who is not afraid of trying new approaches and bringing best practices to the table to validate them with Commerzbank environment. If you have a passion for technical challenges, coding, and automation, we want to hear from you!

You will be responsible for:👇

• Design, develop, and maintain automated tests for BPMN workflows.
• Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and process owners to understand the requirements and ensure that the testing process is aligned with the workflow.
• Creation of technical and/or business focused test cases based on business requirements and the technical design.
• Planning of automated test data generation.
• Cross teams’ collaboration as well as close collaboration with developers inside the team.
• Write, review, and optimize automation test scripts and frameworks using industry-standard tools and languages.
• Plan, Run and manage results of tests.
• Create logs and test documentation.

Which technology & skills are important for us? 👌

• Experience with creating automation test cases ( especially for testing companywide BPMN workflows with tools like Camunda).
• Experience in UI test automation, backend test automation (Java, Kafka, REST Assured).
• Practical knowledge of testing tools and frameworks like Cucumber, Playwright or similar.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with version control systems like Git.
• Experience in using tools like Postman, Octane( or HPALM), Jira could be handy.

CORE comprises in different modules like CORE Person, CORE GlobalParty & Verbund and CORE Admin. With a newly written ONE.Person frontend that enables online customer to self manage static data. CDM Cluster plays a vital role in enabling processes for documents and process automation The importance of person, organization and group view has grown significantly in the last years because of regulatory requirements and from the sales point of view.
