Senior Product Engineer, AI-first

This is not traditional software engineering. This is product engineering at the frontier—rapid experiments, smart MVPs, real user data, and decisions driven by learning velocity.

What you’ll work on 

As a Senior Product Engineer, you’ll operate across the full stack to quickly validate ideas, kill weak ones, and scale the winners. You will: 

• Build prototypes, MVPs, and experiments that validate or kill business hypotheses in days—not months

• Develop AI‑driven features such as real‑time shopping intent analysis, smart optimisation, and audience extension

• Create internal tools and automations that make the team faster—dashboards, data pipelines, workflow hacks, and more

• Run integration experiments with publishers, retailers, data partners, and clean‑room platforms

• Work end‑to‑end within a product trio (Product Manager + Product Designer + Product Engineer) from discovery through build

• Thrives in ambiguity and loves figuring out what to build—not just how to build it

• Ships functional prototypes fast using AI tools like Claude, Cursor, Lovable, v0, Figma Make, or similar

• Knows when AI‑generated code is “good enough” for an experiment and when proper engineering is needed for production

• Wants direct access to users, customers, and real data to inform product decisions

• Enjoys killing their own work when the data says it’s the right call

This is a place where engineers don’t wait for tickets. You shape the product, challenge assumptions, and drive outcomes—not just outputs.  

What we expect in your first 60 days 

• Ship your first working prototype or POC within two weeks

• Own at least one experiment end‑to‑end—from hypothesis to build to “kill or scale” decision

• Build or improve an internal tool that materially speeds up the team

• Form your own opinion on our stack and where AI tooling provides the biggest leverage 

What you bring

Must‑haves 

• Full‑stack capability—frontend, API, and database; nothing blocks you 

• Fluency with AI coding tools and a portfolio that proves it

• Product thinking: you ask “should we build this?” before “how do I build it?” 

• Comfort with ambiguity and rapid scoping

• Experience building MVPs/POCs that influenced real decisions

Strong signals 

• Side projects, apps, tools, automations you’ve built for fun or impact

• Ad‑tech, e‑commerce, marketplace, or distributed systems experience 

• JVM (Java, Kotlin) and AWS background

• Comfort with metrics, experiment design, and pulling your own numbers

• A track record of killing your own experiments when data proved they shouldn’t ship

We work with AWS, Kotlin, Java, Spring, Kafka, TypeScript, Angular, Vue, Python, Terraform, Docker, GitHub Actions, and DataDog—but we care more about your ability to build than the tools you already know.
